MBALENTLE FELITI
I am a registered psychologist based in South Africa, and I am deeply passionate about
walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions.
I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults across both therapeutic and performance contexts,
and I consider it a privilege to create spaces where people feel safe, understood, and supported.
I hold a Master’s degree in Community-based Counselling Psychology, and my work is rooted in ethical,
culturally responsive, and evidence-based practice.
My professional experience & interests spans clinical settings as well as high-performance sport, particularly women’s rugby.
My master’s research explored the lived experiences of Black women in rugby,
which continues to shape how I think about identity, belonging, resilience, and
the systemic challenges many of my clients navigate.
I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and person-centred approaches in my work.
I value both structure and warmth - helping clients build practical skills for emotional regulation
and resilience, while also creating a space where they feel deeply heard and understood.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and grounded in real-life application.
I work holistically, recognising the connection between mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.
Whether I am supporting someone through life transitions, relationship challenges, performance pressures,
or personal growth, my aim is to help clients strengthen their self-awareness, build confidence,
and show up more fully in their lives.
